What’s the difference between a high seam and flat seam?

The most important difference between high seam and flat seam is the seam itself, but the difference it makes is the following:

A flat seam ball is because of the flat seams more aerodynamic and will travel further.
A flat seam ball has less grip and this makes it harder to throw the ball.
A High seam ball has more grip and is less aerodynamic, thus it will travel less further.
