The 2023 Season
This year, we had the privilege of attending the ELF final in Duisburg, an experience that truly took our breath away. Following a fierce showdown between the Stuttgart Surge and Rhein Fire, it was Rhein Fire who emerged victorious, clinching the game with a score of 53 to 34. Our heartfelt congratulations go to Rhein Fire for their well-earned and hard-fought achievement!
What has changed?
In a groundbreaking development, Forelle has secured the exclusive rights to produce and sell replica and mini helmets for the European League of Football (ELF). This significant agreement marks a pivotal moment in the enduring collaboration between Forelle and the ELF, signaling a new era for merchandise offerings within the European football community.
This year, we are again thrilled to see a new team arrive: the Madrid Bravos. The Madrid Bravos will compete in the western conference alongside the Cologne Centurions, Frankfurt Galaxy, the Hamburg Sea Devils, Paris Musketeers and the 2023 season champion Rhein Fire. We wish them good luck! The Madrid Bravos will be lead by Head coach Rip Scherer.
Which teams will be competing this year?
This year there will be 17 teams competing for the ELF championship. The teams are divided over 3 different conferences: the Western conference, the Central conference and the Eastern conference. The conferences will look as follows:
