Baseball/Softball Shoes: Moulded Cleats
Moulded baseball/softball cleats provide a durable, strong and effective baseball shoes or softball cleats. They can also be worn on and off the field. Apart from that they are safer and therefore in most youth baseball leagues it is not allowed to play with metal cleats. Most metal and rubber baseball cleats are permanently affixed to the bottom of the baseball shoe. However, baseball shoes with interchangeable cleats have releases that allow them to be changed from metal to rubber and vice versa.
Most youth baseball shoes are moulded, because they are not allowed to wear baseballshoes with metal cleats because of risk to injury.
