Products

McDavid has 3 types of protective wear. They all have different purposes.

• Sleeves: the primary purpose of the sleeve is to protect the body parts from future injuries and reduce the risk of injuries. McDavid has sleeves for thighs, arms, and calves.
• Pads: the main purpose of the pads in not to prevent damage to the ligaments and tendons, but to soften the fall on the ground or the hit against an obstacle. McDavid only has pads for the knees.
• Braces: braces are designed to protect the body parts that are already hurt or when they are still recovering, but also to prevent new and old injuries. Braces offer warmth and compression for the body parts. The compression increases the blood flow and lets the athlete make more controlled movements. McDavid has braces for the knee, ankle, elbow, wrist, back and shoulders.

Apparel

McDavid also has protectives clothes. The most popular are the compression shorts, but they also have elite compression sleeves, protective thank shirts, socks, compression pants and gloves. To expand the range, they also have sport tapes, ice spray and cold packs.

The Rival 5 Pad Shirt gives the player the ultimate protection in field. The 5-pad protection coverage at shoulders, ribs, and spine provide additional strength. The used foam padding is tough and washable high-denisty. And the six-thread flatlock technology is used for strength at the seams and added comfort.

The Rival 5 Pad Girdle has a new hard-shell thigh guard that are anatomically contoured with low profile comfort and meet all high school football regulations. The light, breathable and durable compression short are made with built-in core protection. The used foam padding is tough and washable high-denisty. And the six-thread flatlock technology is used for strength at the seams and added comfort. It also includes a cup pocket (cup sold separately).

The rival Intg 7 pad ¾ Pant has a 7-pad protection coverage at hips, thighs, tailbone, and knees.
